The following error message appears when you start the License Manager:
You do not have permission to manage licenses on the license server SERVERNAME.
To manage licenses in the License Server, a user has to be in one of two local groups in the license server:
- ABBYY Licensing Administrators
- BUILTIN\Administrators
You can also disable user authorization during launch to avoid this problem. To disable user authorization, you'll have to edit the NetworkLicenseServer.ini file.
This file is located on the computer with the license server in %programfiles%\Common Files\ABBYY\Lingvo\15.0\Licensing (or %programfiles%\Common Files\ABBYY\Lingvo\16.0\Licensing). Open the file and add the following property:
[Licensing]
EnableManagerAuthorization = false
After saving the changes you have made to the file, restart the ABBYY Lingvo x6\x5\x3 Licensing Service(Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services > ABBYY Lingvo x6\x5\x3 Licensing Service).
